Vinho Verde comes from Casal de Ventozela- a family run vineyard, of 27 hectares, dedicated to the production of Vinho Verde since 1983.  The vineyards are situated the heart of the Vinho Verde region.  The region’s climate is influenced by the sea breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, providing a lightness and freshness to the wines.

The grapes, harvested by hand and selected in a vineyard, are carefully transported to the winery in 18kg boxes. After a pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature the grapes are pressed, followed by alcoholic fermentation in a stainless steel tank with controlled temperature between 16°C and 18°C. After fermentation, the wine goes through ageing, remaining in batonnage with the fine lees for a minimum period of 4 months.
