Triolet Brut Champagne

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier

Easy Drinking Dry

Looking for a champagne that’s easy drinking and will appeal to the vast majority of people? This is a great aperitif for parties, events and receptions.

Triolet Brut is a light champagne with fruitiness and a touch of toastiness too.

…a startlingly good price for a grower champagne at this level, and a smart choice if you want a champagne to serve as an aperitif, and something different to a supermarket bottle. iNews

  • Thierry Triolet sells some of his grapes to Krug and Billecart Salmon (but keeps the best for himself!)
  • He is a small family producer who grows his own grapes and makes his own champagne.
  • He’s based in the village of Bethon, which is in the Côte de Sézanne; an area in the south of the Champagne region.
  • The Côte de Sézanne produces high quality chardonnay so Thierry has great quality grapes to make his champagnes.
  • When Thierry isn’t making amazing champagne he indulges in his other passion, golf – occasionally using the vineyard as a driving range!
  • Grapes: 60% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier.
  • Dosage: 10g/l.
  • Country/Region: France/Sézanne
  • ABV: 12%.
  • Conains sulphites.
  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
  • Aged on the ‘lees’ (second fermentation in the cellar, when the bubbles develop) for at least 18 months.
  • Bottle size 750ml

Really light and easy to drink with plenty of bubbles – perfect for Christmas parties with nibbles!

  2. Lisa Jackson

I loved this champagne, beautifully clear and so light and refreshing, not heavy or yeasty and very, very easy to drink.
Great with nibbles, great with a starter or fish dish or great just on its own. If you like champagne you’ll love this!

  3. Laura Russell

Enjoyed this Champagne on New Years Eve with good friends, we all really liked it and found it light and crisp with a very slight sweet taste at the end of each mouthful, a pleasant surprise! We drunk it with nibbles. Would definitely recommend.

  4. Nicky Sage

We opened this lovely bottle of fizz on a hot and sunny afternoon as part of my husband’s 50th birthday celebrations.
It was the perfect aperitif before tucking into a huge picnic and lazing in the sun watching a local cricket match. My Mum doesn’t normally like champagne but immediate declared ‘this is delicious’ and polished off two more glasses. It was light, crisp and refreshing. We would definitely buy it again.

  5. Paula Smith

We enjoyed this lovely light champagne with friends at a birthday surprise. A light, crisp apple flavour -a perfect choice and the ideal celebratory tipple! We will definitely be stocking up for Christmas.
