A. Bergère Vintage Magnum 2002

This vintage champagne is from 2002; a memorable and excellent year. A very special gift to give and receive.

The champagne is presented in a special shaped magnum bottle which adds to its elegance.

The nose is deep, complex and savoury. On the palate there are notes of roasted nuts, honey and mocha. Despite the age of this champagne the finish is extraordinarily fresh.

This would be a divine match with a wild mushroom risotto.

This champagne has layers of flavour and complexity and therefore provides a great value alternative to the likes of Krug and Dom Perignon.

Bottle size 1.5 litres.

Bergere family, who make Bergere champagne, are sitting on the stairs in their Champagne House.

The Bergère family have been growing grapes and making champagne for 3 generations. André Bergère currently runs the winery with his wife Brigitte and their two children Annaëlle and Adrien.

They have a ‘Champagne House’ and tasting room on the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay. It’s very glamorous and well worth a visit.
