The winery of Champagne Janisson

Champagne Janisson et Fils

Rising enigmatically from the Montagnes de Reims in the Grand Cru village of Verzenay, Manuel Janisson’s state-of-the-art winery adds a modern twist to the traditional art of champagne making. From the tasting room terrace, visitors can admire another combination of old and new – a view of historic Reims and the TGVs hurtling through the valley.

Elegance driven by tradition and innovation

Within this modular architectural gem, set among vines between a windmill and a lighthouse, Manuel and his winemaker Cyril Tanazacq produce some of the freshest, most precisely assembled Grand Cru champagnes in France.

Manuel, whose grandfathers were both champagne producers, combines elegantly the best traditions of champagne production with cutting-edge technology, describing his winemaking as a mix of passion and patience.
