Champagne Ellner

Champagne Ellner

The House of Ellner is chic; it has allure and style. Marble floors and iron gates reflect the indulgent character of their champagnes, while the famous piece of artwork on their bottles points to the charm and sultriness of the brand. A girl holding a flute aloft in celebration.

A spirit of independence and a great passion for wine

Grande reserve label

Every evening the Ellner family gathers in its magnificent art deco house in Épernay to enjoy a glass of champagne and perhaps to admire again the anonymous – and valuable – piece of artwork, owned by Mr and Mrs Ellner, which has become their trademark.

Ellner are proud of the lengthy ageing process that their champagnes undergo. The presence of over 50% of chardonnay grapes make for champagnes that are biscuity, rich and complex, ideal to partner with food.

Champagne Charles Ellner is now run by the third generation of the family. From humble beginnings the business has increased in size and the family now owns 130 acres of vineyards in 15 villages across the principal vine growing areas of Champagne such as the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, the Marne Valley, the Aube and Aisne.
